Danny's Days - 29th April 2024

Last week was a very eventful week here at Lidgates. Now we look forward to embracing a new week and a new month. May is a month of bank holidays and hopefully some brighter weather.

We had some good news last week as we a Diamond Award for Best Cooked Meat  in the prestigious annual Smithfield awards for our Honey Roast Ham. This is especially rewarding as this is a very popular all year round product. A perfect product for picnics and especially Christmas. We also won awards for:

 

Gold Awards
Isle of Mull & Marmite Pork Sausage 
5 Spice Chinese Pork Ribs

 

 

 

Silver Awards
St Georges Steak & Ale Pie 
Gloucester Old Spot Sausage 

 

 

Last week was also Great British Beef week, mainly celebrated on social media, we celebrated our British farmers and the great work they do for us day in and day out.
