Great British Food

We are celebrating The Great British Food Festival which champions sustainable, high animal welfare, environment enhancing, delicious food produced in Great Britain. It’s inspired by the Harvest Festival, the traditional time when communities have gathered in the autumn for hundreds of years to celebrate the produce of the land.

We have long championed famous British foods, like our wonderful Pork Pies which are made using only the finest fresh, natural British pork. The meat is coarsely chopped and seasoned with a special blend of salt and pepper.

Then there are our wonderful Gloucester Old Spot Sausages. Made from the famous native breed grown free-range in the Colne Valley woodland. Noted for its flavour, this is a succulent blend of free-range Gloucester Old Spot pork, with sage undertones, parsley and herbs.

The multi award winning Charles Macleod Stornoway Black Pudding has won six Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Foods. It has a unique texture and the moist deep flavour is a result of high quality ingredients and fine balance of seasoning.

The White Pudding might not be as famous as the Black Pudding but, with a subtler flavour, it is equally as delicious. Also known as Oatmeal or Mealy Pudding, the white pudding is great for stuffing or traditionally is served with a cooked breakfast.
