Danny's Days - 13th January 2025

This week we have seen some bitterly cold weather in the mornings. I couldn’t believe my eyes last Wednesday when,as I was scraping the thick ice off my windscreen, waking all my neighbours up at 4.30am, I saw a keen cyclist pass me. He certainly had his Weetabix that morning. 

In the shop we have seen most customers venturing out for their local shopping and in particular mince beef, diced steak and pies have been very popular along with the usual favourites. The week I have been in contract with our champion Haggis producer near Aberdeen and we look forward to welcoming his produce into our shop, hopefully by the end of the week.
