Danny's Days - 9th March 2026
This week hosts one of the most important days of the year, Mother’s Day. It’s a chance to give back to those who give so much - often quietly and unnoticed. A mother’s love is a strong unwavering bond that has been immense since the start of time and will continue forever.
This weekend some of us have the opportunity to create something special for our own mothers, and some fathers and partners can create something for our children’s show of appreciation.
Along with flowers and gifts, food plays a big part in this day. Either a favourite restaurant or home cooked meal, food is one of the best ways we can celebrate a day to remember.
Personally, I will be cooking stuffed chicken ballontines, as we fancy poultry with glorious homemade gravy and seasonal vegetables.
Whatever you choose, and whoever you are celebrating with, I wish you a memorable and joyful occasion.
