Danny's Days - 30th March 2026
Last week the Lidgate team gathered for a special and emotional presentation. John Walsh celebrated his 25th year anniversary at Lidgate Butchers. As my brother and I presented him with an engraved gift, there was a loud round of applause. In the picture you can see how much this appreciation from the whole team meant to John. My gosh, 25 years flies by quickly.
This week we are obviously in full scale Easter mode, as every UK retailer will be. Many people use our website to place orders but I also wanted to highlight, our team are available to take orders via phone or email and to help with queries and any bespoke requests.
Personally, I love and embrace Easter. I find it an uplifting time, as the days brighten, spring start to arrive and we start seeing spring flowers, birdsong, bumblebees, and butterflies. It marks a new season and a new beginning.
