Danny's Days - 27th February 2023
This week we are starting to get ready for Mother’s Days celebrations. Usually FAMILY SIZE PIES are very popular however over the past few years we have seen increases in large joints like LEGS OF LAMB and rolled LOINS OF VEAL. RIB OF BEEF can also be a popular one. It is an important day and mums deserve every moment of spoiling. It is a chance to say thank you for all the things we take for granted throughout the year.
There are so many sacrifices that so many mums take on, that go unspoken. So don’t leave it too late and start planning an exciting starter or nibbles, a strong showpiece of a MAIN COURSE, a luxurius and inspiring desert and a CHEESE board featuring your favourites from the UK and around the world!
On a more somber note, we have so far raised nearly £300 for the Turkey/Syria Earthquake appeal with the funds going to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
This week we are set for some windy weather. At the weekend we were invited to a celebration away for a few days and not too far from the coast. My gosh it was cold. We saw a little sun and went for a nice walk along the beach but the kids were really feeling the cold blustery winds. It was certainly too cold for an ice cream. However you choose to spend this week, wrap up and have a lovely week.
The very best wishes,Danny
