Six Nations Rugby

This weekend the latest round in the Six Nations includes matches with Wales v Ireland and England v Scotland on Saturday and Italy and France on Sunday. With the recent cold spell we have been having, I thought it a good idea to share some hearty meals with a focus on Guinness as one of their bases – starting with some special Lidgate sausages. 

There’s no better time to try out special Pork & Guinness Sausages made with free range pork with black pepper and a generous helping of Guinness.

There are also some great Venison and Guinness Pot Pies - Slow-cooked venison, cooked with Guinness and redcurrant jelly, spooned into pie dishes and topped with a puff pastry lid before baking. A golden pie that makes an excellent dinner party main to fend off the chill.
