From the people behind Supernova, Creme, and NAC, comes this new Parisian-style brasserie which is already receiving lots of online buzz. This mayfair spot exudes upscale glamour whilst featuring some elevated comfort food faves on the menu such as their 74 Duke Burger which showcases a Wagyu prime cut with American cheese and dijon-aise. From the elegantly designed website to the chic interiors, 74 Duke exudes luxury and looks like a great option for a unusual date night or special occasion. Online reviews have raved about the beautifully presented dishes and friendly staff, stressing that diners should make sure they leave room for dessert! Highlights from reviews so far are the Brown Butter Choc Chip Cookies with Banana Caramel Ice Cream, Caviar & Celina De Léon Sweet Roll, and Tuna Tartare. For fans of restaurants focused on curating that French dining atmosphere such as Le Relais De Venise or Brasserie Zedel, this restaurant is one to try.

Calling all lovers of photography and food – a free exhibition is on from June 3 – September 7 at the Museum of the Home in Hoxton. You’ll rarely see an event sponsored by a Tenderstem broccoli, and the exhibition is unique in more ways than one. With 25 categories, it’s a chance to see a diverse array of the way in which food touches lives - from ‘growing, harvesting and cooking, to eating, celebrating, and surviving’. Awards include Jamie Oliver’s Youth Prize and Food for the Family supported by The Felix Project, with many other great causes spotlighted.
