An ode to Chef Spencer Metzger’s late grandmother, Chez Rose is a new Mayfair destination keen to create a relaxed dining experience that serves up British and French cooking. Following Metzger’s two Michelin stars at his previous venture, this opening is certainly one you want to check out.

The snacks section is a fun place to start, with the Cantabrian Anchovy and Young Curd being a particularly popular dish with customers. Though expensive, for a special treat you might also want to have a try of the Umai Caviar, served with crème cru and chives.

There is a big focus on letting seasonal ingredients do the talking, so you might find some variation in the menu as the year goes on. Great dishes which embrace this philosophy are the Monkfish with coco beans, artichoke and Menton lemon, and the Ratatouille with courgette and wood roast pepper. Any dessert fans among you, I would greatly encourage you to pre order their rich and creamy 70% Chocolate soufflé, served with vanilla ice cream.

This homely restaurant is a great place to have high quality dishes whilst still being in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Wembley Park Summer Market

There are also plenty of activities to get on with once you have found something to eat, such as VR experiences and Social Sixes cricket. There’s no booking required, so head over on the 22nd, 23rd or 29th for their last August dates. More info here.
