Sale e Pepe Mare – The Langham
When: Opened 2nd March 2026
Where: The Langham Hotel, Regent Steet
Book: www.saleepepe.co.uk
The Langham hotel has a litany of successful restaurants under their belt and there is no reason to believe this will not be another success. This seafood focused Italian restaurant takes inspiration from the Amalfi Coast, Puglia and the Riviera.
When looking at the menu, their signature dishes are the perfect place to start. The Capesante al Forno is an excellent antipasti, a baked scallop dish with chilli, lemon and parsley. They also suggest the Granchio e Avocado, a crab, avocado and tomato salad.
For starters, their delicately succulent seafood rice dish, Riso alla Pescatora, is a great choice. For the meat eaters don’t worry. It is not merely seafood on offer, with the Carre Di Agnello, charred lamb chops, and Wagyu Bistecca del Macellai are great options for a meatier main.
For drinks, you could go for a light, versatile wine to pair with the seafood, such as the Massolino Langhe Chardonnay. Or if you are looking for something with more body to accompany the meatier dishes, you cannot go wrong with the 2021 Barolo.
Cato Cocktail Bar – Covent Garden
Named after Cato Alexander, America’s first celebrated bartender, this Covent Garden bar attempts to continue his work and turn cocktails into culture. With its suave late-night atmosphere, wooden panelled interiors and extensive drinks list, it is definitely worth a visit.
Some favourites you might want to try are their Jalapeno and shiso cocktail, which features Ramsbury single estate vodka, jalapeno liqueur and vermouth. Their Elderflower and Cheese is also a strong option, made from dry gin, MUSE vodka, a blend of British cheeses and elderflower dry mead. To book a table, click here.
