CORENUCOPIA

Where: 18-22 Holbein Place, London, SW1W 8NL

When: Opened 3rd December 2025

Book: https://www.corenucopia.com/private-dining

You might have thought that the journey Chef Clare Smyth has been on couldn’t have got any better. Chef Patron at Restaurants Gordon Ramsay, Chef of the Year, and holder of three Michelin stars, this Northern Irish chef has been framed as one of the best around. Now, Smyth has opened yet another restaurant, Corenucopia. It promise British classics with a touch of Smyth’s signature gourmet dining.

In its Chelsea location, the must-try dishes include Dover Sole Fish and Chips with Lobster Mousse and their rich and creamy Cherry Trifle. Anyone who spent weeks perfecting the perfect potatoes over the Christmas period might enjoy Smyth’s potato menu, which offers 10 different styles, from the Blumenthal classic triple-cooked chips to crispy Hasselback potatoes or even the buttery fondant style.

The drinks are never to be overlooked at a top restaurant like Corenucopia. For whites, the sea-salty notes of an Albariño would pair excellently with any fish dishes, whilst the Remelluri Rioja supplies a full-bodied wine with a hint of cherry, which would accompany red meats excellently.

Get it before It’s Gone – Roman Dinner at Bocca Di Lupo

A historical-themed pop-up is a little different from what we normally highlight, but Bocca di Lupo’s Ancient Roman menu seems the perfect fix for the January blues. Dine like an emperor on these modern takes on ancient Roman dishes, such as Anas cum Prunis (wild duck with bay and prunes), Renes Agni Farciti (lamb kidney stuffed with hazelnut pesto), or Savillum, (baked cheesecake with walnuts and honey). Click here to see what else they have on offer.

Gordon Ramsey Academy Masterclass – Beef Wellington

In the spirit of Clare Smyth, ex-patron of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, we thought: why not learn to cook like Ramsay as well? This January, you can master the British classic Beef Wellington at the Gordon Ramsay Academy. The class takes only half a day and allows you to master one of the most difficult yet brilliant British specialities. Taking place on the 58th floor of 22 Bishopsgate in the City of London, why not go along and then wow your friends and your next Sunday lunch!  Click here to book.

Mindful Chef – Pop up Smoothie bar

Whilst Mindful Chef is normally a meal delivery service that helps millions of people across the UK meal prep healthily during the week, they have decided to tour something a little different across London for the month of January. This travelling smoothie bar offers healthy and delicious drinks such as the Peanut Butter Protein smoothie and the Berry Gut-Boosting smoothie, to name but a few. Its next stop will be Liverpool Street on January 15th, so head over there for the perfect lunchtime beverage.
