When: Opened 30th January 2026

Where: Seven Dials Market, WC2H 9LX

Book: (Doesn’t take reservations)

Like many of the restaurants we cover, Hoko may have just opened its first long-term home in Mayfair, but it has been around for years. You might have seen their gorgeous collection of Hong Kong dishes in Westgate Street Market and even tasted some of them at their diner on Brick Lane, but now they have a permanent home for their Wonton Noodle Spot in Covent Garden.

Channelling the founders’ experience and nostalgia for the eclectic array of food stalls they grew up around in Hong Kong; Hoko’s Wonton Noodle bar promises to serve the classics which they grew up on. Handmade prawn and pork wontons are the perfect place to start, with a side of their original chilli oil. Also on offer are their Tofu and King Oyster Mushroom Wontons, and Cantonese Braised Beef Brisket and Tendon.

If you do not frequently visit noodle bars, then I encourage you to push the boat out with their drink options and have some of their Hong Kong milk tea, a perfect refreshing cold counterpart to their brothy, heart-warming dishes.

As they say themselves, wonton noodles are perfect for any time of day, so why not go along and try it for yourself. For more information click here.

‘Sireli’ at Signature Brew

Sometimes a Signature Brew beer is simply an interesting alternative ale to drink in the more summery months in the UK, but sometimes it is also the perfect beverage to accompany this new Armenian pop-up. At Blackhorse Road - The Brewery, Signature Brew are joining forces with Chef Oli, whose restaurant ‘Sireli’ offers plenty of sharing platters. There is a selection of hot and cold mezze such as muhammara, house pickles, hummus, dolmas and flatbread. The more conventional among you who can't help but yearn for a tasty burger to go with their beer should try the Sireli Smash Burger with confit mayo, sumac shallots and zhug. Fortnum and Mason Wine bar

Not that you should ever need a reason to book a table at the Fortnum and Mason wine bar, but March 13th marks International Riesling Day — so I guess it’s the perfect excuse to spend your evening there. I’d start with a glass of their Italian Riesling, which has a perfect combination of dry elegance with complex floral aromas. If you're looking for bubbles, you might want a glass of their exceptional 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru champagne. The red drinkers amongst you might like to try their American Bordeaux blend: Artemis, which is rich, tannic and full of blueberry and blackberry. St Patrick’s Day

On the 15th of March, why not make St Patrick’s Day an all-day affair? You could start with a customary early drink at the famed Camden pub and music venue: The Dublin Castle. Then head to Trafalgar Square for the wonderful annual parade, where the parade will have journeyed all the way from Hyde Park Corner. Then finish with a little ceilidh accompanied by Hackney-based folk band ‘Cut a Shine’. There will be plenty of food stalls as well, where you can purchase a traditional Irish stew. There are plenty of events around London if you want to celebrate, so I am sure if you’re up for it you will find plenty of things to keep you occupied.
