Danny's Days - 7th November 2022

Last week was very busy in the store and on our website with the weekend especially busy with people buying lots of sausages to enjoy on Bonfire Night. We are seeing lots of Christmas and Thanksgiving orders coming through too. Just a reminder that Christmas orders will close off on 17th December at the latest. 

The Shetland Lamb season is almost over for another year with only a couple more weeks to go. If you haven't tried this lamb before please do so as you will be helping to support sustainable heritage farming practices. You can see our Shetland Lamb products at this LINK. 

The World Cheese Awards were announced last week with the winning cheese being a Gruyere. Out of the Top 16 cheeses awarded 'Super Gold' awards, four were from the UK, nudging out Italy and France for the most awarded country. We will be looking at stocking some of these winners very soon. In the meantime, you can browse our Cheese & Deli offering HERE. 

Finally, our Christmas decorations are now up. We owe a big thanks to butcher John Walsh who takes on this task every year and has the store looking festive season ready.
