Danny's Days - 7th April 2026
This week we’re back to work. It was quite full-on at the shop over the weekend - Easter is a time where the Lidgate team can’t really have holidays, so we all knuckle down and get the work done. However, for those of you who were able to get away, I hope you had safe and joyous trips.
Ben and I took a few hours off on Wednesday for a small and intimate memorial mass at my local church to mark the 2 years anniversary of our father passing. Mum certainly appreciated it and was bombarded with attention from all her grandchildren.
Last week also was a significant full moon. The April full moon is also known as the Pink Moon in North America, in reference to the ground-blooming plant phlox, which flowers in early spring in regions of the U.S. During a full moon, the lunar disk appears completely lit from our perspective on Earth as it travels opposite the sun in our sky. I actually woke up one night with our bedroom lit up with the most glorious light beaming from the walls.
We have a few new products finishing off their development stages here in the shop. One is a Turkey burger which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the development team. I will keep you all posted.
I hope you all have a wonderful short week,
The very best wishes
Danny
