Danny's Days - 6th October 2025

It’s been a little while since I wrote a Danny’s Days but my gosh it has been busy in that time.

Firstly, I am back from paternity leave and straight back into work and it has been all systems go.

In September we were once again part of the Moveable Feast which raised over £24,000 for Action Against Cancer. Over the last few years, they have raised over £100,00 for this great charity.

We have been enjoying the Game season and are welcoming fresh pheasants this week, probably from Wednesday.

We hope to have the first of our Shetland Lamb on sale at the end of this week too. This unique breed of lambs are only available for a 6-8 weeks season. Even you haven't tried them previously I would encourage you to try them this year and help support and a traditional farming practice. 

Last week we attended a local Police Ward meeting. It was great to see how our Police are really trying to make this area as safe as possible with the resources they have. They reiterated, it’s not perfect but they are doing their best to improve the issues we all see and experience.

It's a busy time for us as we are getting ready for the winter months. We have a few new staff joining the team and we have some new products coming for you to look forward to.
