Danny's Days - 4th August 2025

Last week we had a bit of a weather change and now storms are upon us. We can’t complain though, we have had plenty of sunshine leading up to this. I might be a little eccentric, but a bit of rain and wind won’t stop me from enjoying a BBQ in the garden.
I might be a little quiet over the next few weeks as it has now become my turn to have a little time off.
During this period will be the Sturgeon moon. Named for the large fish that were easily caught in August. It will be visible in the early morning sky near a conjunction of Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter according to The Old Farmer's Almanac. The moon will also coincide with the Perseid meteor shower, creating a celestial spectacle. It can be seen August 9th, 2025, reaching its peak at 8:54 AM in the UK.
