Danny's Days - 30th June 2025

This week we welcome the start of Wimbledon. Tennis isn’t one of my favourite sports, however I do take my hat off to this tremendously well organised London event. Usually Wimbledon fortnight signifies our last couple of good weeks trade before many of our customers start their summer getaways. It’s a time where here at Lidgates, we try and squeeze in some holidays of our own and carry out maintenance and preparation work for the busy autumn (hopefully) that shortly follows.

I hope you all get a chance to enjoy a glass of Pimm’s or a bowl of English Strawberries and cream as you watch the high-speed action of centre court.
