Danny's Days - 2nd October 2023

This week we had a very busy end to the week. On Saturday we cooked for a charity event outside the shop. We worked alongside Bella Pepper Sauces to create lovely spicy chicken pitta breads with salad. My gosh were they popular and all proceeds went to The National Autistic Society. Bella Pepper are a small local business, set up by a lovely young couple. They even have their own song featuring Paul Weller. I wish them great success with their different hot sauces.

This week we started selling our Pumpkin Pies and my children were thrilled to have one on Sunday afternoon for dessert. We will probably have them in stock for another week before they make a return in November for American Thanksgiving.

This weekend 5 of our team are running a half marathon in Hyde park again raising money for The National Autistic Society. We have link to support them HERE.

And now for a bit of fun news, we recently started sponsoring a under 17’s football team. Last match Naphill U17’s won 12 goals to 2 and are 2nd from top in their league. Good luck chaps and keep that performance going. Here is a picture of their kits.

This week we move into a new month and edge closer to Christmas, which is always well noted in every butcher’s diary. We’ve just passed the last supermoon of the year and are getting ready for the dark mornings and colder evenings.

The very best wishes,
Danny
