Danny's Days - 27th October 2025

I love this time of year. Halloween is here for the kids - my eldest says she prefers it to Christmas (in a very Adam’s Family sort of way), Bonfire Night is just around the corner, Thanksgiving is an uplifting time of reflection and celebration and then we have the grand finale – Christmas, a time to celebrate with loved ones. I know, I know it’s a bit early but I’m getting excited.

Last week was another busy one putting the finishing touches to the Christmas offering at Lidgates. My gosh this time of year comes around fast. This year we have been doing a fair bit of product development on our stuffings amongst other products.

Last weekend I also made the bold decision to put up our Christmas decorations a bit earlier than we normally do - mostly because we have so much to prepare for Christmas, it is one job off the list. That along with fact we have some great Christmas goodies to highlight. Some products like the advent calendars, panettone and marzipan sold out very fast last year so I do recommend pre-ordering as soon as you can to avoid being disappointed.
