Danny's Days - 26th January 2026

This week we see the end to a fairly busy January. It’s a strange month for us as it has the potential of being quite busy (with no school holidays/half-terms) but also needs the Lidgates team to be fully motivated and ready to go after the Christmas rush. This year we have certainly done that with a few new products on their way.

Last week we launched the Vitello Pacchetto, a great new product invented by our front shop supervisor Jamie Harbutt. If you do try it and enjoy the juicy flavours, please feel free to give him your comments. You will make his day. No one sees the work it takes behind the scenes inventing new products from scratch and he can feel very proud of himself with this one.

Another new product entering the line up soon, is a Chicken, Garlic and lemongrass stir-fry designed and created by another one of our big hitters. Steven Owens, our Lidgates Manager is responsible for this one. Keep you eyes peeled.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Burns night celebrations last week. We were thankfully and gratefully busy.
