Danny's Days - 23rd June 2025

The topic of discussion on everyone’s lips (bar political issues around the world) is the UK weather. Some customers are saying lovely, others feel they’re under attack. We are lucky enough to work in a cool air-conditioned butcher’s shop. It certainly makes up for this cold dark winter mornings when it’s like this. 

News from the Holland Park Avenue: The pizza shop Pumpernicks is changing management. I met the new owner on Wednesday last week and he intends to have a café/pizza shop championing clean and healthy ingredients - something to look forward to. 

Last weekend the Lidgate BBQ team here were extremely busy cooking for an event at a local communal Garden. We’ve only been doing this a couple of years, and every year seems to get bigger and better.  The Lidgate team were absolutely marvellous and we are all very proud of them.
