Danny's Days - 19th May 2025

This week’s Danny Days is of a different flavour. For one, I like to keep these blogs real to what days are actually like and two, because this event was particularly poignant. Last Wednesday I was invited to a charity event we support every year. One of our customers (and also an incredible woman) Tiffany, has been instrumental in organising ‘The Moveable Feast’. This is a fun dinner party which has raised significant amounts for Action Against Cancer Home | Action Against Cancer.

On Wednesday evening she kindly invited me to see where this money goes, and oh my goodness it’s well spent. This charity delivers the vast majority of the money directly to research. 94p out of every pound actually reaches the purpose, whereas some other charities can be more like 60p. They mange to enable cutting edge research which is then picked up for further investment by bigger funded companies and charities. I was fortunte enough to listen to a lecture from Professor Justin Stebbing | Action Against Cancer. It was simply incredible.

My Danny’s Days today is dedicated to this cause. Everyone of us will be impacted by cancer in one way or another. If you do donate to cancer causes or feel strongly about new and improved ways of fighting and beating cancer, then please, please, please donate.
