Danny's Days - 13th April 2026

This week we’re back to work after a slighter quieter couple of weeks and fair consumption of Easter eggs. Due to the upcoming christening of our young son, my wife and I have been spending a fair bit of time in church. Although this is certainly not a religious newsletter, I’d like to share some of the themes I have heard.

They seem to be rebirth, resurrection and mercy and forgiveness.  I feel this is a good message for the Lidgates team. These next 12 weeks are a time for us are a new season, hopefully bringing some warm weather, will be a time to make the most of the business available before the summer holiday time.

Even in choppy trading times, we are very blessed to be in the magical village of Holland Park, with our amazing customers - both near and far, to have incredible and devoted farmers and producers, and to have a passionate, hard working team of amazing individuals. We are grateful for everything and we look forward to serving you the best we can this season.
