Salcombe Dairy Champagne Truffles 100g

Salcombe, Devon's southernmost town, sits in a natural harbour that in the 19th century was a busy trading port for ships carrying fruit, cacao, sugar and rum. Salcombe Dairy still make chocolate there, and these are their most celebratory.

What's inside

A milk chocolate shell around a smooth ganache with a generous splash of champagne, backed up with Marc de Champagne and a little brandy. The peach and lemon notes in the champagne keep the centre from turning sweet, leaving just the right lift of alcohol.
