Bay Tree Redcurrant & Rosemary Gravy 320g
A proper redcurrant gravy for roast lamb. Bay Tree build theirs on red wine and a savoury mushroom stock, then lift it with redcurrant and orange and finish with rosemary, so it comes out sharp and rich rather than simply sweet.
What to serve it with
- Roast lamb, where the redcurrant does its classic job
- Lancashire hot pot and slow-cooked game
- Roast duck legs, cooked in the gravy for a change from the usual Sunday roast
Try this
Pan fry chunks of lamb, tip them into a casserole with chopped aubergine, pour over the gravy and slow roast until everything collapses into itself.
Why you'll like it
- Made with real red wine, redcurrant purée and juice concentrate
- Rosemary and black pepper keep it savoury, not jammy
- Ready to pour, so the oven does the work
