Danny's Days - 6th May 2024

Well it’s some weather we’ve been having. I’m sure you all heard Wednesday night’s thunder storms. The Bank Holiday weekend’s weather certainly didn’t encourage us to bring out BBQs. But hey-ho we need a bit of yin and yang in our lives, soon we’ll be complaining it’s too hot.

 

This week we heard some great news that our Manager Steven ‘Stig’ Owens has been asked to join the Team GB Butchery Squad. The squad will choose a team to compete in the World Butcher Challenge in Paris in 2025. A huge well done to him.

More news this week, the Lidgate shop team as well as the wider Lidgate family were filled with pride to see my recently deceased father's obituary featured in The Times last Thursday.
